open your eyes

nathan got in a car accident last night.
i once heard the saying:
"for once i wanna be the car crash
and not just the traffic jam"
but that's ridiculous
i've been both, and the traffic is much less complicated.
much much less.

like all accidents, someone is to blame.
this time it was marines...
drunk marines.
they plowed into nathan, with josh also in the car.
the car is totaled.
a brand new car, mind you.
but josh and nathan are fine.
just...fine.
as for the marines...
they can get suspended or even kicked out of the marines for that behavior...
and they should.

i can smell the kettle corn sitting next to me.
it was fresh when nicole and i first took a handful.
now it's grown two days old, but still tastes...
yea, it still tastes wonderful.
seeing nicole was a breath of fresh air.
i needed to see her.
i need to see kimi, but because of a dumb fight, i think that'll have to wait.
until...i don't know.
she was supposed to live here this winter...
but that changed too.
ah, change.
it's the only constant.

i'm working on a song.
lauren said i should try.
only, i think it'll suck...
and to top it off, i don't play any writing instrument.
